Two miniature books- breaths of fresh air

Lately I’ve found myself craving a few words of wisdom and sensibility, humility, love, compassion, thoughtfulness… and as a sort of prayer, I’ve created two sweet miniature books.

I first discovered William Ellery Channing’s thoughtful reflection, “Symphony”, while visiting the Unititarian Universalist Church on Martha’s Vineyard.  These felt like good words to live by all those years ago, and they still do.  I’ve sewn them into a miniature book, available here.  The book measures  1 1/2 by 2 inches.

A wee bit lighter in tone, I’ve also created a miniature book of happiness- a little boost of joy to give and receive.  You can find it here.  This miniature treasure is 1 1/4 by 1 3/4 inches small.
